Ooh nice! I've had to wait all yesterday (no pics in work) and last night (I was out) to finally have a quick peek of your goods before I left for work this morning.
Worth the wait though - you have been a busy boy havn't you. I knew some of the bits you'd been picking up like the Skunk2 bits, etc, but your wallet/plastic must be taking a battering like mine is!
Nice to see some Mugen in there - get my daily dose!
You went for the HRC fuel pump then - I've been um'ing and ere'ing about whether to get the known brand of Walbro or get one of these. It's like £30 cheaper, the guy does an extra years warranty and they are supposed to be quieter, not whine as much as the Walbro's. I don't want to take any whining noise away from my charger.
Think I might gamble and get the same one.
Also nice catch can and overflow - still deciding on mine. Found some nice long and thin overflows on US ebay which look good to tuck to the side of the rad.
Oh and do you have a link to those mist washers? Once I get Cutz bonnet, he deleted his washers and so I need to do the same scuttle panel position.
Interesting colour choice of the fuel rail too - hinting at any colour scheme elsewhere perhaps?

Rob - ebay's definitely saved me a few pennies, but yep... It still hurts
lol. And Mugen trick bits FTW!
Go for the HRC Racing pump bud. Wins in the price, noise and warranty department, but I've also done as much research into the HRC pump as I could (They're still relatively new of course) and forum users who have used both Walbro and HRC are rating and sticking with HRC over Walbro. In a lot of cases I've seen Walbros in pieces and with a lot of surface corrosion. Sold it for me!
Yeah, I won the Weapon-R catch tank on ebay ages ago. Had a non-branded one which I then super-seeded with a Mocal one already, but I was sold on the Weapon-R one when I saw it, and it's super super light
And then I got the rad-overflow one price-matched for the cheapest price I could find in the US and then sent to Shawn at Rosko direct from the Weapon-R factory, who then shipped it over with the rest of my stuff
The fuel rail was actually supposed to be anodized red, but yeah it's come out kind of brown. I really do like it though! And yeah, it may have influenced me to consider a change of plans of the colour scheme front
We'll see
Again the mist sprayers were an ebay find, but I'll check out the packaging for you, so you or I can track them down if you like. They look to be very good quality.

I was at two minds as to whether to post it on the two forums or not, because of the obvious. But then I thought I know you'll be over the moon for us and you'd want to knowNucleustylz lude wrote:And...it does hurt in a way when I hear of others falling pregnant because we want it so badly again, but at the same time I really and genuinely am overjoyed for you mate.

(PUK) New Wings West Replica Eyebrows & Brembo 4 Pot Caliper
Well a few more bits arrived this week
Seems when I can't actually work on the car, I have to buy stuff for it instead
I think I should move closer to the equator... It'd be cheaper
Anyway, I had been modding a set of pre-facelift nostrils, removing the central slat. This was obviously going to require a bit of filling, but also without the central slat, having steep sides and not being that deep, they were actually allowing you to be able to see right inside. I didn't want this, so there was going to be a lot more painstaking sculpting required if I was going to be happy with them... Until these popped up on ebay for a unrefusable price the other day...

They're obviously replicas, but they should tie in nicely with my Wings West kit
As you know from a couple posts back, I've batantly got a shed load of performance upgrade parts to fit which should hopefully make the lude go a whole lot faster, but so far I've all I've done for my stopping power is paint my calipers Kawasaki green
Trouble with "upgrading" to the obvious Legend twin pot caliper or even the NSX's alu jobs if you can find either of them, is they're still not gonna give you "great" stopping power. Any big brake kits out there generally require 17" rims minimum and a lot of money. I like my 16s and my money, so instead I thought I'd take a bit of a gamble and try something a little different...

They're Brembo 4-Pots
, as seen on the Lamborghini Diablo, Ferrari Maranello, Skyline GTR, a bunch of Maseratis and a couple of BMers
They should do the trick if I can get them to fit.
And to my surprise, they're a lot closer to the OEM caliper size than I expected, which is good as I was intending to use OEM 282mm disc size

They're slightly deeper, but on a quick inspection I have enough room to design a nice sturdy adapter bracket, and it looks like it should be a piece of p!ss
...

This is why I'm after a front hub assembly, so as I can measure and mock-up with ease... Inside the house
... Anyone!

You can get these off old 7 series beemers, Fiat coupe Turbos and some models of peugeot 406 coupes as well - this is where I was looking. not sure if the mounting is different or not between them???
That actually looks a lot easier than I'd imagined it to be. What disc thickness are the Brembos meant for? I have some info on some 4th gen PCD specific alternatives to get up to 25mm thick instead of the 23mm OEMs. They are off of a specific Accord - 2.3 Type V.
Good luck bud.
Hopefully picking mine up in the next couple of days and I'll get some pics up. Need some refurbing though, seals and bolts will all be changed and I'll see what state I can get the anodising up to, or it's respray.

Yeah I think these came off a 7 series BMer, but coming off a Lambo, Ferrari and all the other exotic cars sounds betterNucleustylz lude wrote:Damn, nice choice. What I was looking at before my deal with Marc. I can appreciate why you stepped aside.

I'm paste only photos because description is in Polish
Redrilled disc from some Vw Passat 315mm x 25mm wide
Modified hub mount (or what ever it is called) - rhd side is standard one
Calliper mount tamplate
Hope that helps
