(PUK) ATR Manifold Blanks & A Lot More Trick Bits
Again, not so much an update as it is the recent accumulation of parts
Firstly, the profiles I had lazer cut to blank off all the unnecessaries on my ATR manifold...
I've handed them all over to my friend to tart them up a bit...

The IACV blank...

The EGR Valve blank...

And the EGR Ports blank...

Also I've had a Sard FPR kicking about since the first batch of goodies, I just neglected to take a pretty picture of it... And it is pretty

I also picked up a high output D-series alternator off another forum member thinking it was going to be the smaller lighter cast a D-Series one normally is. Unfortunately it's the same casting as the standard H22 alternator, although I may still use it as it's as new looking
...

I won some Ultralite (And they are) wheel nuts from the bay of e more recently...

But more bargainous than that... I won an unused though semi-fitted Driftworks Oil filter relocation and cooler kit for an absoloute steal!!!
...

And even came with a thermostat as well
...

I was lucky enough to grab Honda-Rs last Kaisenspeed Balance shaft removal kit the other day...

And more importantly than that I grabbed Jayk's ATR bundle he had up for sale a little while back to!
...

I also got the crank, but forgot to take a picture of that, and aren't sure whether I'll be using that yet anyway, as I'd need to get some additional machining work done to make it fit and although it's stronger than my standard H22a crank it is also heavier, so we'll see
And then finally for now
... One ATR U2Q7 gearbox on a pallet
...

The build is coming along nicely.
Oil cooler kit is a must if using the car on track.
Looking forward to following this even more.
What are the pistons and rods you bought from JayK?

Dang! Some more tasty bits bud - quite a collection of stuff now.
You're not allowed to fit them though - that's the rules for us!
Nice pickup on the oil cooler kit, looks well built.

Been looking for one for a while bud. Didn't want to get one of the cheepy ebay jobs, and the Driftworks combo at £460 and £100 for the thermostat just seemed ridiculous! But then my good fortune struck again

I drew up the blanking plates myself and had them laser cut by a profiling company my work uses. I've designed some machining to be done to make them look a little more funky and I spoke to my mate who's going to be doing the job yesterday actually. He's asked me to get 4 more billets for each, as as he's going to have to program in a fair amount to the CNC machine, he feels he may as well do more than just one of each... If you catch my driftMerlin wrote:Great list of parts, I want that gear box of rmy 4G (or at least the H22a8 version). Where did you get your blanking plates from? I'll see if I can take off a screen print of my designs a sec.

(PUK) ATR Manifold EGR Port Blank Concept
Here you go. Sorry my design program isn't really compatible with Windows, so I'm afraid it's only in wireframe, but you get the idea...

spent another two hours untangling the loom yesterday after work. Getting nowhere fast and sat side-saddle in the drivers footwell makes it back-breaking work, and Hank was as good as useless!...

So out comes the entire thing!...

At least now I can do the job properly... Remove the wires from the plugs and redirect them in the least tangled way possible

It's alright, I've been electrical-taping them up as I go, but now I also plan to spread them out with the aid of nails/hooks and a wall that's in serious need of re-plasteringindigolemon wrote:Just be careful after you untangle them.
