Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Mobil1. I use it. It's a great price and available at Halfords :D

Thanks for ther advice guys, I hope this helps to sort the problem watch this space :)

I thought 5w 50 might help protect the engine a tad better, as ny oil temp has reached 110 quite quickly.

And a friend of mines drift s15 was just about hitting 95_100 oil temp wise after a good ranting

Start off trying some 10w40 & see if that makes any difference. If not, may be worth getting your cooling system flushed & refilled. There might not be enough summer coolant/antifreeze in there. Or it might just be really old. It's worth doing this every 2 years or 20-30,000 miles anyway. When was it last done?

Being honest buddy iv just done this as I've changed the Rad, and all still looking clean and topped up
