13x6.5" (330x165mm) is standard JDM size Sam, but you can always have slight variants on the overall dimensions depending on the reg.

thats why id like a jdm 5th genner to actually measure their plate.

13x6.5" is the correct size.

That's why I said what I said Sam. If you just order a JDM plate, you're going to get a 13x6.5" plate, as I imagine Nitin (or the previous owner) did. There's obviously no specific JDM Prelude size. But you can get technical and using these rules...
  • Character height 64mm
Character width (except the figure 1 or letter I) 44mm
    Character stroke 10 mm
    Space between characters 10mm
    Space between groups 30mm
Top, bottom and side margins (minimum) 11mm
    Vertical space between groups 13mm
... make a smallest possible legal sized import plate. You basically can't get any shorter legally, but you can reduce the width depending on whether you have 7 or 6 digits, or any "1"s or "I"s. But otherwise 95% of JDM Prelude owners will have 13x6.5".

I ordered mine slightly wider to fill more of the gap on the number plate recess ;)
