There are so many cars I have driven that I really like, and always thought I might own one day, the problem is when you compare them to a lude.....
EK9 is basically scene points and you'll really miss the lude torque IMHO.
EP3 is a performance bargain, if you can handle the looks they are hugely practical. All jokes aside, when you drop the back seats they are like a van.
ATR would give you the familiarity of the H22 of course.
DC2 only driven one once, but again it's the lower grunt of 2nd and 3rd in the lude that I missed. It's a big part of the drivability I think.
S2k Again, a great car but feels like it needs a H22! Plus you cam't get sod all in it...
New Civic Type R? Good luck if you can get on with the looks, I just can't get past them at all, even with great numbers.
DC5 Again only driven one once, really liked it, but just felt my particular lude already did what it did, but looked better doing it.

All strictly IMHO and I'm by no means using the rose tinted Prelude specs, it's just it's a tough car to top for all round daily usage and fun. That can actually be a problem!
Just one thing, I wonder why people have it in their head that if they spend 4 or 5k sorting a lude, that it will still give you problems/rot??

Oh and from what I've seen, ALL the other cars of the same age are just as suspectible to rot, it's just that the majority of the DC2 you see (for example) have been looked after 'because type R', whereas most ludes have been left in front gardens for 5 years, even half of the ones on here.... I WENT THERE!
