I did mine a few years ago, so prices may have changed a little, I paid £120 for the screen supplied and fitted, but there is a need to replace the trim too at a cost of about £100 unless you do that bit yourself.

The £120 was for a blue or green tint and was off the shelf.

The JDM bronze screen was close to £400.

I went with the blue and IMO visibility is better than the bronze.

Just make sure that anyone who fits it uses a well known branded sealant, mine did not and it came unstuck after a few years.

Autoglass wanted £650 to replace our wind screen but our insurance covered it so it only cost us £75 with insurance, we went with blue screen too

Problem is I don't have the windscreen cover on my insurance.

Not fully comp, therein lies my problem.

I know thats how most people go about it, just wondered if anyone knew where to get them 'off the shelf' so to speak.

I just called up a number of local companies and got some quotes. Autoglass were something stupid like £640, but some local ones were around £120-150.

Next renewal is after my MOT.

Crack is repaired but still visible in the wiper section, so needs doing before the MOT :(
