So i own a 1997 5th gen. Im from europe, so mine is left hand drive.
I cannot operate the passenger/right hand side window from the driver's door card / button console.
The window works normally by using the passenger's button though.
Any known causes for this? As far as I read it could be the multiplexer unit or broken wires near the door jamb..
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

OK, problem solved.
It was the driver's door jamb harness - the wiring was torn and broken.
Removed the harness from the car by cutting it, lenghtening each wire by a few centimeters and reinstalled it.
Took me a whole afternoon and evening

That's a pain/fiddly job in that area.
Very unusual for the loom to be damaged and fail there - first time I've head of it, tbh. Maybe the door has been off your car before and someone wasn't very careful when they put it back together and snagged the wiring loom?
