More Japfest 2014 pics and vids
Well I uploaded the few pics and vids I took - not really any of the stand and Preludes!
I was saving the juice for my track time video - but it died during the track time and it didn't save the video.
Stumbled on the NSX club first to drool over - Is it a real NSX-R GT? Either way its awesome:
Also loved this oddly kitted heavily modified NSX - it had a turbo conversion, big brake, Rays wheels, Mugen bits, etc:
Then we were drooling over some drift cars - this thing was insane a Nissan Skyline (Infiniti G35 shape) with a V8 and a Stillen supercharger bolted to it. It screamed round the track!
Little vid of it:

Then they went out on track:
A little video:

Loved this old Mazda RX3:
Then we saw the Top Gear trio go out on track:
(Zoom isn't the best on my phone)
Then I got the Mazda 6 (laughably) ready for some track action. It surprised a few out on track:
After we came off track I was waiting to drive back on to the stand. Next thing I knew the club stand banner flew up into the air from the wind and smashed into the side of my car. There's marks on the wing and the door which I think most will polish out, but the big creased dent in the door won't.
Bit annoying end to the day, but hey ho, at least I didn't bin my daily driver on track!
I'll snap a pic of the damage later.

And yes was bad news about the stand, defo need a some anchors for next year
No it didn't, which is the thing bugging me whether it was the infamous NSX-R GT???macky_6 wrote:Great pics
Did the NSX-R not have the snorkel?
Normally that would deserve a pi$3take comment back, but that sound! I think everyone had an orgasm over that!nitin_s1 wrote:I had an orgasm everything I heard that whine from that G35 supercharger..
I've always loved these, and all the classic ones before the RX7 are pretty awesome - google the pics if none of you have seen them (RX1, RX2, RX3, RX4, RX5, RX6).wurlycorner wrote:That RX3 is gorgeous!!!
Someone snapped my Mazda on track - body roll much?
It looks to be quarry corner - renowned to be the worst corner in the country!

Yeah no arch rubbing after I rolled/flared them.
I'll snap the damage on my way home later. In the grand scheme of the car it's not as bad as I thought, or maybe I'm just getting used to it. It's just annoying its not an easy one to just pop/pull out.
Most people don't know about the other RX's as they pretty much don't exist in this country - I guess the importing of them wasn't so popular back in the day.
