Yeah I am sure we can chop almost another second off the time with the upgrades I want to perform.3rd gen steve wrote:On the plus side we know there is still more performance we can get from the car.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude - SLS round 6
I dont think there are any rules to stop me from installing something like that
Official write up http://www.superlapscotland.co.uk/2016_round6.htm
I ended the season in 4th having slowly scraped my way up from 7th after round 1's engine failure. If I hadnt span out in the final of round 3 I would have finished the season with a podium http://www.superlapscotland.co.uk/championship.htm In overall terms I finished 19th out of 80 cars.
Looking at the results from round 6 you can see just how competitive class F was. 2nd place in the class above (class E) was only a 61.9s. That time wouldnt even get you on the podium of the lower class F

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude - SLS round 6
I have a new brain worm, a sequential gearbox!
I know these things are damn expensive and I already have a great gearbox that has a fair bit of cash spent on it but the performance increase that the sequential gives is very tempting.
At present there is no penalty for using a sequential in SLS The only issue (other than price) is that there seems not to be an off the shelf box for the Lude. It was suggested to me to try the B-series box and do an H2B build instead.
Something like this https://j-specperf.ch/index.php?main_pa ... ts_id=3650
Plus a clutch pack LSD and H2B fitting kit. The Hondata S300 has a clutchless shift setting so it will work with my tuning.
An example
