Without looking at length, an easy way of telling which cat you have fitted, is that the jdm cat has a temperature sensor on it at the side towards the rear, which the ukdm doesn't.

Right ok well I've got get under the car to try and bodge thus hole which I hope is causing massive problems (see other thread) so I'll take a look then thank you :)
