Really does body lemonade me off... (concorde thread)

First time I saw Concorde up close and in the flesh (at Duxford) I had a vision of a young designer sitting at the back of a sunny classroom bored, and doodling this fantastic, unearthly creation on his paper..... because that's what it looks like... a beautiful, sleek, spacecraft fantasy made metal. And then when you learn about what it can do..... and about the engineering challenges; the way it grows at speed due to friction heating, the materials they had to invent...

I'm with you on this one, Iain. What BA have done, and continue to do, just marks them out as vain, petty men without vision... it angers me that it's happening, and it angers me that these people can deprive the world so needlessly and with apparent impunity
