Might have found a hose for my Xantia in Germany... :roll:

The cost breakdown is like this;
Sub-Total: 73,70 €
DHL (1 x 0.3 kg): 11,90 €
incl. 19% MwSt: 13,67 €
Total: 85,60

WTF is the "19%MwSt"?
It can't be an import duty or anything like that, because it's from inside the EU :D (thank heaven for us being part of that :poke: )
And;
The main listing for the part says that the advertised 73,70 € "incl. 19 % Tax", so it can't be that, surely?
Otherwise, it says it includes it, but then it charges the 19% again a second time, after adding on the delivery charge???

Or is it something else? :?

It's just the German word for their tax.

Mehrwertsteuer 19%.

Like here VAT 20% or whatever it is.


Also if you look at the price 73.70 and the delivery 11.90, you get your total 85.60. As W1ggz says, it isn't added a second time.

Donald's right: it means 'more value tax'.
That is, it's a downright lie, just as vat is - more money = less value.
Still, at least it's a shade less than we pay here.

Ah yes, I see now... :facepalm: too drokking tired at work this afternoon and fed up chasing round the globe for a poxy little bit of rubber to read it correctly first (or second) time round! :evil:
