4ws fixed

Post by c_doughty1 » Sun Apr 20, 2014 9:55 am

Well I've been driving round in my gen 4 lude for about a year now with just 2 wheels steering but now I have 4ws steering again thanks to confused, really clever guy and very helpful. So massive thank you dude.

Also if anyone else has issues with 4ws it's actually not so difficult but I suppose that's because I watched and learnt something new yesterday.

It needed resoldering at the back of the bank of eight chips were according to confused thesse become dry over time so he turned it over and put fresh solder on the back of these points quite a bit of soldering but he skewed it all back together and put it back. That and a new fuse and hey presto working ecu.

If you see there are 8 chips which have been circled at the top of the picture in green, not my ecu just a pic off of the net.
If you turn this over the soldering points are underneath them.
