OUCHY

Post by fweakyg » Tue Sep 09, 2014 1:23 am

Let me start by blowing off the cobwebs ......

God dam i'ts been donkeys since ive been on here. I hope you have all been behaving, and that uncle ammo has been keeping you all in check !! Looking at no one in particular ........" cough cough Crazy cough cough "

I went to visit friends and family in Bristol. I had parked up on the side of the road a street away from my friends house. On leaving his house for a day out, he pointed at an empty parking space next to his house ( an end space of a row of cars parked down his side street ) and he added QUOTE: that's a prime parking spot !!!!!

So I whizzed off to move my car to this PRIME parking spot !

Well well, I was in a pub the next day having a beer when I received a call from my friend saying that the front of my car was now on the road a foot away from my car !!! I turned up and to my car and a knocked on a couple of the neighbors houses to see if anyone had seen who done it, Lucky someone had. It was a wheely bin cleaning company .... A neighbor ( who's house was right next to the parking spot ) added that he never parks there as he has seen 3 cars written off there !

Awesome advise from friend. Prime parking spot my ass !!

Nice to hear from you again fweaky :D just a shame it's in such absolutely jobby circumstances :(
Adam mentioned this at Jae and I'm gutted to see this on your beautiful lude.
Hope you can get it repaired ok. The insurance settlement that Adam mentioned sounded very low???

If you need to replace that front lip, I think you can still get them new from the states (at a price, of course!)

That is jobby, the uncaring barstewards, i hope you make a claim against them, about 2007 I had a similar experience when the local gardening company flicked a load of stones up the side of one of my cars while strimming the grass, it cost them £1000 to have the side of my car resprayed.

Thats a great looking Lude btw, good luck with your claim.

ive had a few parking knocks recently but nothing as bad as yours :?
get your claim in for as much as you can and dont let them write the car off
a good body shop should be able to sort that out :)
Not wanting to stir it but your friend has some explaining to do - surely she would have known about it being an accident black spot
