Boot lid wont stay up

@carrisma - I would appreciate that mate. I have no idea where my old clip is. It snapped and went flying somewhere. My best mates dad is a panel beater, hopefully he can help in some way.

First up, here's a photo I took in 2014 of the damage:



And here's the solution:





Without this, the plastic clip flops to the left and rips itself out. I've used 3x metal CV boot bands, secured to a fabricated metal clip sort of thingy. Plastic cable ties aren't strong enough.

I made a template of the original holes using a piece of card and I was tempted to get a metal plate fabricated and pop rivet it in position, but this has been doing the job adequately for a couple of years now so didn't bother.

This is a suitable resolution to my car's specific problem, you're might be quite different.
