Not managed to blow me up despite best effortsDonald wrote:What have I done wrong now?

Not sure about illuminatum either, while I'm here.

Anyway, I sorted out the earthing today and stuck a socket on for the back corner, too.

As usual, couldn't get my hands on a proper gland small enough and wasn't going to run the earth in flexi conduit (no way of properly finishing it at the other end, so pointless) so had to improvise.
Donald's socket stood up to 2kw load with nothing dramatic occurring.

Just a little update to this, but important stuff!
Fitted a second socket (needed that) and changed the faceplate on the other, for one with built in USB sockets (very handy);

And after a couple of years of bluetooth speaker-ness (which tbf, is a good bit of kit for what it is) it was time for an upgrade...

Cheers rob.
I really appreciate the help that a couple of the guys have me with some bits of the install.
Not had as much time to use it this year as I would have liked, but.still got some good things done that would have been a lot harder without it
