Good morning Gentlemen,
Well, an overnight frenzy of brain delving brings up more answers. Well done.
3: Pushki, well done sir! Great film eh? We all presmued they're dead in the shootout but we'll never know!
11: Congrats Pushki, Elvis and 'Colonel' Tom Parker.
2: merc redeems himself with those two fine clubs. Mind you, they're up your way aren't they merc????
9: (Can't afford one myself mate) and cantaffordannsx gets it. Del and Rodders heading up Trotter's Independent Traders. Well done.
Still no takers for 6 and 7.
Mmmmmmmmm, I'll give you one more morning's thinking time and post the answers this evening (my time) to put you out of your misery.
Thanks everyone.

Sorry about the delay everyone, got stuck with a client yesterday evening in full on mithering mode...

Right then, here we go:
6: Morecambe (seaside town) and Wise ( a sage, and he always introduced his plays saying "this is one what I wrote..)
7: Brian (Clough) and Peter (Taylor). Having just read "The Damned United" for the umpteenth time that pair sprang to mind.

Well, merc gets the Mars Bar (again) so I guess I'll have to work up another asap. Well done everyone and thanks for taking part.
