Where to buy new JDM plates?

Sure, you could order one if you like. Unsure of mounting as my car came with a folding bracket that the plate mounts too

well a good option would be for me too get a part off broken jdm so that way its just the plate id need!

would that work?

Just use use 3m pads to stick it on, I did on my BB4 and they stuck like jobby to a blanket. As far as I'm aware though legally I believe UKDM cars aren't supposed to have import size plates on?? Someone may be able to confirm that.

Loads of the boy racers locally have import sized plates on UK spec jap cars, including several who've put the rear import sized plate in to the UKDM shape plate recess

and one kiddy who is driving a mk4 Golf with import sized plates on it

I've seen a UK Polo running actual Japanese plates. Kanji and everything.

Also, most of us who run 'JDM' plates are running 12x6 plates so not actually JDM as I believe they are 13x7. Wayyy to big haha.

^^ Funny isn't it, as the JDM plate holder is 12x6 (which I believe is US size)
