ECU is very unlikely to blow the 100amp fuse - it would blow a 10amp fuse first.
Swap the ECU's back and before you go any further, take the main fuse box apart to check that's clean/dry inside, I suggest.

We are getting what feels like a pulse down the fuel line to the rail though. What else could I check to see if its getting fuel?

Hang on, aren't the 5G ecu's linked to the immobiliser box? You'd need to swap that too for it to fire wouldn't you?

Yes, or you might get away with having the keys from the other car near enough to the ignition barrel to fool the system into thinking the correct key for the ECU is in the ignition.
