Why do we work 5 days a week?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Work? so there is a plus point being a pensioner. I like lying in bed on a cold wet morning listening to the poor bastards going out. I pull the duvet up a bit more and go back to sleep with a grin on my face!
I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

When we're busy I've done a 5 day week by Wednesday, unfortunately it is not flexible time though! The majority of the population in our country do work far too hard to support the minoity whose right it is to do jack. I like the Continental way of doing things but I'd doze off in the afternoon if I had a 3 course meal with wine at lunch!

I worked a 3 day week for 9 years before being made redundant in 2012 my mates where always telling me how lucky I was. A real shock to the system having to get a job work 5 days again. No time to get anything done now what I would do to work 3 12 hour shifts again lol

Just for that remark I will get up at 11am instead of 10.30 as usual. nice cup of coffee and bacon sandwich in bed at 10.30 instead of having to get up for it!

4.5 day week for me. Wednesday afternoon is car cleaning day :)

As for "work smarter not harder", that's corporate bullshit for "sorry, you have too much work for the hours we pay you, we have no solution and are worried about upsetting the lazier staff by addressing the imbalance of work. So deal with it, while we walk around doing very little other than assigning acronyms to tasks as we have nothing better to do and need to justify our salary"
