When we're busy I've done a 5 day week by Wednesday, unfortunately it is not flexible time though! The majority of the population in our country do work far too hard to support the minoity whose right it is to do jack. I like the Continental way of doing things but I'd doze off in the afternoon if I had a 3 course meal with wine at lunch!

4.5 day week for me. Wednesday afternoon is car cleaning day
As for "work smarter not harder", that's corporate bullshit for "sorry, you have too much work for the hours we pay you, we have no solution and are worried about upsetting the lazier staff by addressing the imbalance of work. So deal with it, while we walk around doing very little other than assigning acronyms to tasks as we have nothing better to do and need to justify our salary"
