Glad you explained that. Had no idea.

A good friend of mine often talks in that manner but would never write like that. It's a pleasant Scottish affectation, as when she uses Scottishisms such as "Wheesht". (In English: Shut up!)

Having read some of that link, it's clarified that everything I've picked up regarding English (Since the alphabet) has been acquired, not learned. I still couldn't tell you what an adjective or participle is, let alone how to use one.

I have no idea why anyone would be intersted in that, but I've typed it now, so jobby happens.

Are we allowed to say Scottish again?

I know it has caused problems in the past.
