Should I?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

A colleague at work had one of those Surf's.

I had a lift in it a couple of times. I was amazed at how truly awful it was!

Seats were terrible (no support, awful cheap foam feeling things) and the interior was as dated as the 1986 Sunny I have locked away in a garage - fine in that (car was released in 1982) no place in a car 8 years newer!!!

The VTI Aerodecks are nice, definitely wouldn't say no to one. Bit out of my price range though, and ideally I'd like an automatic or a diesel or both!

I'm off to look at the truck today, if it is as bad as you guys say I'll steer well clear. My Nan wants to buy it though, tempted to buy it for myself, drive it till I get sick of it then sell it on to her

£750

If the bodywork is in good nick and of course the mechanicals it should be a viable option

I drove the Hilux today... I'll be honest, I really liked it. Drove very smoothly, the auto box was great and loved hearing the turbo whirring away. Can't beat the feeling of driving a 4x4 either, brings back memories of being a kid driving my aunt's Isuzi Bighorn around her land :) yes the interior of the Hilux was pretty plain, however it's a vehicle designed for working so I imagine it's to make cleaning it easier once it gets filthy. Lots of electrics inside and they all worked fine. Did spot a couple of bits of rust on the running boards, and the chrome bumpers were scruffy, but after a crawl underneath the chasis all looked good. Going to have to think about this one... I should really get a practical estate, but at the same time I really want a fun car and this really fits the bill, and right on my doorstep too.

Lovedoctor, where was that VTI mate? I'm on my iPhone and it's useless for stuff like that :(

Yep, we're on the sunny South East coast 8-) don't think I fancy going all the way to Lancaster somehow, have you seen the price of train tickets these days

Think I might be going for the Hilux, it looks like a good bit of fun :D
