If that's BT Infinity, then it's awful!!

Should be around 80Mb download, 20Mb upload!

Oh yeah, it's still not guaranteed, but should still be better than that!

It's fast enough for me. I don't play games on my PC.
I can download a movie in about 30 minutes. :geek:

I buy the cheapest, broadband only (no fone, no nuffin else) package from virgin and pay £23.65 for that.

Today's a slow day.

I think it's the 'up to 30 mbps' package, but this has got me thinking... They recently wrote to me to tell me my bill was going up to that price because they'd upgraded the area to 'up to 100 mbps' standard.

Now if I'm not on that service, why am I paying more for it???

The main problem with the Virgin network is their introduction of the Tivo boxes that stream TV over the internet connection. Their network just can't cope.

Maybe yep, but the best thing about it is the price (and the speed/unlimited usage for that price) because that's all I pay!
No additional bloody phone line rental that I don't want and wouldn't use.
Every other option available here needs that and that puts the total cost for broadband over that amount, with less average speed and sometimes crap download limits...
I have to say in the 3 years I've had it, it's been very reliable too.

Just had another check:

Still only getting download of around 2Mb though, so still needs time, but it has NEVER been that high in the 3 years we've lived here!
