Well, that's a pain.

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Thanks for the comments guys, the hospital called me back this afternoon, turns out I have extreme Adenovirus with all the Pharyngoconjunctival fever symptoms.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adenovirus_infection

I must say, its very nasty and I've never been so ill in all my life. I even had to go to a specific pharmacist for the medicine as apparently this is quite rare.

I've also had to quarantine myself in a part of the house so to not infect the wife and son. :x Well, at least I'll get some peace and quiet for a while....

Hope it doesn't take the 5-9 days to clear up :(
There's another bright side apart from the peace and quiet though - you also kept it :jdm: with the illness too! :10:

Hey Iain, thanks for the thought  . Not quite where I should be yet, it took 3 weeks for the severe symptoms to subside  , with still some residual issues and further tests ongoing.

Didn't help that I moved house last week, which whilst I managed, probably put me back a bit.

Yeah I bet, tiring and stressful process that is, which you could do without on top of feeling manky!
