Nitin, based on only a very quick sample look around, I wouldn't want to pay more than £250 for that civic you posted up. And tbh, I really would spend just a bit more than that and get a much better one instead.

Nitin, that car is a liability, accident damaged and not serviced for 2 years! They sould be paying to get rid!

Not so sure passing that on would send the right message either, unless you wanted to offend. ;)

I bought my girlfriend an EP2 for £630, she loves it. It's a surprisingly ok car, it's an easy drive and comfortable. The 1.6 VTEC isn't bad on fuel either, did 42mpg on the last tank (mainly Laura doing motorway miles but also me spanking it around town at the weekends  ). As for reliability, that remains to be seen :? So far so good though.

If I had a choice, I'd get an EG 1.5 VEi though!

8 months MoT.
If you believe it'll run reliably until July, it's got to be worth £50 a month, surely?

I'm maybe the only mad person who thinks like this, but see when I see aftermarket alloys like that - it totally puts me off. It makes me think someone has tried to make a 1.4 civic look 'sporty' - which implies they've probably ragged the nuts off it from cold etc. Maybe just me though, I'd probably be looking for some old couple selling one - preferably as factory as possible!
