surely yours isnt the same issue, yours would be the radius rods, if your caster angle is out the radius rod is the only adjustment.

The wheel alignment specialist says my passenger lower ball joint is bent which is throwing out the castor. My radius rods are fine. I did replace one last year as I had a separate castor issue then as well. The knuckle has moved in relation to the lower arm which the radius rod bolts onto.

By having your radius rod nut let go at 100mph in a braking zone ;) It wasn't the only thing that was damaged as a result.

 ok ask a stupid question... :D
What I meant was what can actualy get bent? Just difficult to comprehend what can bend really, given that basically all of the shaft is up inside the bottom of the strut and below that is the ball in the socket  There's only a very short section of shaft that isn't encased and it's surprising to think of that bending.

I will post up a pic once it has been changed over but I assume it is the angle of the shaft in relation to the ball on the end. There is a maximum angle the shaft of the ball joint can move to. Due to my whole wheel assembly moving backwards in the wheel well the angle of the ball joint was exceeded and so the shaft bent.

I had just assumed it would be the OS front putting marmite in the butter, as that's where the impact was.

paul, your only in bristol bud. pop down to chippenham and i can get your alignment checked for a tenner cash in hand to the fitter. they use the hunter alignment system. although if your car is lowered then the camber angle could be causing the inner wear.

youll get a print like this too.

just an example
