I don't know you Paul, but it must be awful so you have my best wishes also.
Can't fault the NHS myself tbh, I think for what we pay it's astoundingly good service - I sure as hell wouldn't want the bill for treatment for things like this, it would be vast. And as for countries where these systems based on private health insurance... Well if anything serious had happened for these 3 months I've been off work, I'd be drokked, wouldn't I!
As a general I think Muscular-Skeletal problems are a very difficult area for doctors. Often there's nothing actually to be seen so it makes diagnosis/treatment much harder
