Hi,

I've just been on a speed awareness course - £95 to sit in a classroom for 4 hours. There were some useful bits of information in the course and I still have a clean license... :)

The courses are usually run by the AA these days and you can find out more here:

http://www.theaa.com/aadrivetech/driver ... index.html

I am now much more aware of speed! ;)

Dobbs.

Depends what part of the country you are in. I have done two of these courses - one in Kent cost me £140 and took a whole day with hands on driving class. The other was in Leicester and cost £90 but only lasted half a day.

And as an added bonus, also come out with all the experienced contacts you need to do that bank job you always wanted to do but didn't know how... :hurr:

Ask them to send you a copy of the camera calibration certificate ;)

A friend of mine got caught. He was told my someone that they don't keep on top of the calibrations alot of the time. the same way they can't afford the gatzo cameras
He asked for a copy of the calibration certificate and they dropped the charge.

Edinburgh and Lothians Police have thought of that and actually posts the calibration certificates online :? AND we dont get the option of speeding classes.
