theres not much point mate as i cannot afford to pay a garage to carry out the work thats why the timing kit has been sat in my flat for past 4 weeks

Ah ok, well if it helps, I'm no mechanic but I followed a couple of guides from here and did mine myself.. if you take your time it's not too bad.

ah ryt well if i had a place to do it i would mate thats the thing i have no garage or anything and nowhere to store the car over winter if i was to keep it

Are there any council/housing association garages round your way? They're pretty cheap to rent and you don't normally have to be a council/HA tenant to get them.

yeah there is but ive already been in to ask about them a couple of weeks ago i wouldnt trust my car in any of them anyway coz they are all in dodgy housing estates with loads of break ins and stuff
