Mmm, never thought about the rust angle, but if they don't rust, what have they all died from? Had a BX 1.6TD Estate when I lived in France, quirky but lovely suspension, but it did rise and fall for no particular reason quite regularly.

Ya'll harping on about 'the period' like you're on one. The whole thing was about modern pugs. I defy anyone to tell me the have made a 'good' car in the last ten years. Thats really the point they, and I, were making. Ticky tacky cars for ticky tacky people. No one has said they havn't made halfway decent cars but they are not known for it. No french car producer is known for making good cars. Cheap affordable and not worth keeping alive after a certain time. The fact you dont see rusty ones means they all die from some mechanical fault that, because it's french, means the repair is just too expensive to be bothered with.

Yes they made iconic motors, one or two, but they now make rubbish and they sell it by the million. Its more an indictment on the buyers than the car  :x if you offer jobby and people buy it what else are you going to do but make lots more?
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

Did say I'd not seen it yet - I was picking up on comments being made about 306's etc.

But...

Is this still in reference to just modern ones? Or in totality? (Reads as the latter)

nb:
Cheap affordable and not worth keeping alive after a certain time.

Applies to ALL modern cars!
