Most annoying thing is it used to be a pretty decent area, seems to be more on the drugs than those not nowadays.

wurlycorner wrote:@4th Gen Doug A car being classed as Cat C or D has no effect on its future insurance costs. It only affects future value (i.e. what you would be paid out) in the event of a further claim (due to the resale value of the car being considered as being lower). Cat A or B would be uninsurable, if they checked.

It's only in the last few years that insurers have started using the claims database much more in calculating premiums.

Cat B! According to those who assessed it the inner arch is crushed as well near the suspension top mount. Cant even buy it back  Luckily I didn't put the konis/teins on yet or the type-s/a8 intake. Now have all the hassle of fighting for what the car is worth!

How awful. :( Quickly strip it and tell them it's been further vandalised.

Why can't you buy it back? I would argue that.

Dam that sucks.

If i ever have an accident then the car isnt leaving my drive. It will get towed back to my drive and the insurance can come to me to look at it. Just so i can strip it if they say it would be a total loss. Plus being in the trade no one apart from my touches the car for repair.

How the hell was a shock mount and an inner arch bent? Was it the hulk, godzilla maybe or perhaps kingkongs?
