James and Iain (thanks for PM replying now): No personal offense taken guys, I made the point about my wife and others having tattoos as an example and 'tried' to finish it with

as a point. I'm not annoyed as a result of me thinking that you (and others) were making remarks which I took personally, I was annoyed of peoples views of what people are because they have a tattoo (heavily inked or just one or two) - no two people are the same.
Yes, I admit there are good and bad tattoos out there, just like with anything there are good and bad results. Agree with Phil's wording about tattoos, but its generalisations and badging people because they have them I hate. The word 'type' is a classic example. Maybe it's the life I lead and the interests I'm into but I happen to know many tattoo'd people, some women with lots and lots of them - and they certainly are not a 'type' of person. Some of them are the sweetest girls you could ever meet. People that hate tattoos always give these sweeping comments about them and THAT is what pi$$es me off. But also doesn't make me hate any of you guys - far from it.
People don't know why someone has a tattoo, most have meaning to that individual, fuk if anyone else knows it or not. It could be a memory, a place, a person, a rule of life, a favourite activity/animal/person/etc. Is that so wrong to express it in the form of a tattoo?
Normally I wouldn't kick up a fuss and moan like this, who knows maybe its my time of the month! But I started the moan so may as well finish it!
I feel a little like:
