Nearly the end of the lude

Post by paul72 » Mon Jan 20, 2014 8:21 pm

Well got up this morning to a very icy car an cudnt even get door open but after some warm water i managed to get in an she started first time :D after it warmed up and heating was nice an toastie i left for work driving with care . As i got couple miles from work following another car we went round a bend where the car in front went thru a flood so i decided to go other side of road to miss it but within a second all i saw was the car in front spin round an straight into the hedge , without a thought i applied brakes only to find the road was pure ice an i slid all over the road an ended up heading into the crashed car . All i cud think about was i cant crash the lude then i saw the blokes face looking at me coming towards him then he put his car in reverse to get out of my way thank god he got back enough before i hit him and i slid past his front end an managed to gain control again . I still cant believe i didnt hit him and his front end was smashed but im glad i changed back to my winter tyres on sunday as i think my 17 inch tyres wud of been alot worse . Sorry if story was a bit long
if it aint broken your not driving it hard enough

Glad all OK in the end.

Kudos to the other guy for taking evasive action - a lot of people just sit and watch it happen.
