So with all the nonsense with London Underground this morning I had to leave my house at4.30 to get from woodford to holland park in Kensington, anyway after two hours of going backwards and forwards around Stratford on the DLR I eventually gave up and headed back to the Lude which was parked in westfield, I'm heading back home a bit pissed off arguing about London Underground that I fail to see the car in front of me stop I weld the brake pedal to the floor and the car stops in time, I don't think you could fit your hand between my front bumper and his back bumper and my arsehole was like a rabbits nose for a few seconds, I drove home more cautiously after that
When I bought the car I said I would get drilled nd grooved discs and replace the calipers make sure the brakes are good and solid
Thank you captain Foresight

Glad you and the lude are ok. It's scary when that sort of jobby happens!

There's a direct mainline service from Stratford to Kensington Olympia (or Shepherds Bush, depending which end of Holland Park you want) every 15 mins (journey time of 50mins)

I enjoyed my 15 min walk from Liverpool St to London Bridge over the river in the sunshine this morning, instead of the usual from Stratford on the Jubilee Line.
The walk back this evening in this shitty weather won't be so fun though!!!

That Stratford to Kensington Olympia was the one I wanted but the stratford station was shut and they would not let us off the DLR to get it, I will just take the days off and use the time to organise a commuter strike...

Oh right.
but then again, now I'm even more confused...
Why on DLR at all if you parked at Westfield? You walk straight from Westfield into Stratford station and the mainline station was operating normally when I went through? They've been shutting underground parts of stations that are still open because of overcrowding, but the mainline stuff's open as normal?
Or probably cheapest/quickest would be bus from Woodford to Ilford, then mainline train into Stratford to change onto the Kensington train. Save all that traffic/parking at Westfield agro and cost.
sorry man, this probably sounds like I'm having a go - I'm not!!!

I was at Stratford station for just before 6 and it was shut, I was told to get on the DLR at Stratford international and change to the overground at Stratford but they would not let us off the DLR so I tried changing at a few stations and then got annoyed and left lol
I will never use a bus
