PIC WANTED - EL dials inverter mounting

Post by bennyboy » Tue Apr 29, 2014 2:18 pm

Hi all,

I have the inverter and the mount attached to it, but I could not work out how the bloody thing fitted to the car!
I know it should be easy as it only has so many options, but no. :x

Does anyone have a pic of behind the tweeter, showing the orientation of the inverter/mount?

Ta muchly! :D

Yes!

This is the little bracket that goes at the back of the invertor to brace it out from the dash and stop it flapping about

This pic shows a close up of it in place.

One of the bottom 2 holes locates on a plastic peg sticking out of the dash (left or right, depending on LHD or RHD) - this is probably there on your car even if it didn't originally have EL dials.
The top holes should screw into a self tapping clip pressed into the dash (same as you could see in the bracket itself) - this is probably NOT there on your car if it didn't have EL dials before.

This pic shows the rear bracket and the top one, that screws up under the top of the dash, to take the 'weight' of the invertor.
