The tech training manual has this lot in it;

The info on the multiplex system being what I was particularly interested in learning about;

Hydractive 3 info will come in useful later on... :hurr:

Ah multiplexing! Both useful and an effing nightmare at the same time :lol:

Aye.
TBF, it's making the car an absolute POP to upgrade with all the nice add ons though - none of this BS making up and running extra wiring looms around the car like I've done on my UKDM! :lol:

That side of it is great, I recently found this http://www.volvotech.eu/cfe and I'm so so tempted.

The down side is stories like: Water gets into the cd changer in the boot, the whole car goes nuts as bad signals flood the network etc :lol:

Yep, exactly that. Or water getting into the towbar electrics having a similar problem is the other story I hear.
However it does make upgrades easy and means when I get a Lexia, I can plug in and do all sorts of weird and wonderful things all over the car, from the comfort of the drivers seat on a laptop :lol:

The rear glass on the tailgate can be opened on C5s (there's a button hidden under the wiper arm spindle cover) that doesn't work on mine, but sometimes the tailgate likes to open itself when I open the drivers door (does it a couple of times a week). Not major aggro 'cause the display tells me the boot is open. Apparently it's a common problem that the wiring in the tailgate flexi goes brittle and breaks (thin wiring due to being canbus system) and I suspect the 2 are related problems :lol: I'll get round to looking at that sooner or later...
