First time out in the 5th Gen racecar

Well the 5th Gen 2.2 was out on track at Mallory Park over the weekend and performed well

Got down to 53 sec laps and could have gone quicker but for my shockers needing a service

Had a bit of a bump at Shaws hairpin in second race and damaged a Ginetta racecar which was my fault as I was taking a Lotus Elise at the hairpin and wasnt able to stop the car enough

All in all was very pleased with the car and looking forward to improving it further during the year

Was a lot of interest in the car as its the only 5th Gen out there that I know of racing in the UK

Next race meeting at Anglesey July 11th/12th

I'm doing a few rounds of the CNC Heads North West championship

Next rounds are at Anglesey on 11th/12th July

I'll put some pics up and a link to youtube once I've sorted my race footage as the go pro was playing up

A few pics

A lot of the cars in this race series are lightweight, spaceframed or Turbocharged

So seeing as the Lude is still a bit lardy and running a standard mis-match H22A/Accord Type-r engine, standard LSD box she didnt do too bad
