1983 2nd Gen Info Please

Post by magiczig » Thu Oct 01, 2015 10:39 am

Hi All

I have an original 1983 2 Gen in white and would like some info please

I will take some pictures over the next couple of days , Its been sat in a barn for the last 16 years so is very much a project
told the engine is fine and yes there is rust but overall looks solid and looks very original ,

May I ask what the market is like for a 1983 2nd gen model if I restore It are parts available at fair cost or If I decide to sell as a project what kind of ball park range are we talking.

Thanks in advance for any info

What spec is it? That's going to impact the price.

I bought a rusty GSi (top spec!) in white a year or so ago, 90k miles, sound engine but mullered clutch. Paid £300 from memory...

2nd gens don't attract much value unfortunately.
Have a look on ebay and carandclassic, there have been plenty available over this year.
I don't think I've seen a minter go for over £2k - so in that regard, they are worth less a 3g...
