Iceberg silver rear bumper for 5g
I put car in to bodyshop to get scrapes on the Drivers side of rear bumper fixed after someone did a hit and run job when my car was parked at a shopping centre (no CCTV or witnesses)
Anyway body shop sprayed half the bumper to supposedly match in the paint and bumper is now silver at one side and blue/grey at the other side with some orange peel and drips on new paint just wish I could post a picture of it as removed my account with photo bucket.
I have been told that they used the correct paint BN-83M but I find it very hard to believe as paint is such a different colour
I am going back to the bodyshop tomorrow to see what they can do to fix the pray job but I have my doubts about it
Hence why I may need a new bumper hopefully with paintwork in good condition as car looks like an eyesore to me at present

I believe iceberg silver is a pita to blend in Rattymcclelland can probably advise better.
However, a competent body shop should be able to do a reasonable job, even with a difficult paint. And there shouldn't be paint runs really.
Definitely worth taking back.

Typo colour is B-83M and bodyshop checked code first before ordering paint for car
I would say depending upon weather conditions and time of day paint can look purplish grey silver or blue grey silver
Hopefully when I find a low mileage VTEC it will not be Icelandic silver or Nordic mist according to the paint code
I would say nordic mist is best description of paint colour
Went back yesterday to complain about the badge and owner wished he had checked the job first before giving me the car back as work done by a new guy that he brought in to help out.(he was not there when I picked the car up)
He has told me to get it done properly the prelude badge needs to be removed, and that he personally will rectify the works carried out
He also will spray paint both the bumper and part of the rear wing to blend paint in properly at no extra cost to myself. So I have booked the car in for next week
However he will not provide a new prelude badge for the bumper due to additional works required
so i managed to source and order up new badge for £61.50 + vat from a Honda dealer in Peebles (note to guys in Edinburgh local dealer told me they can only provide service parts for preludes as it is such an old motor) wish Chatham's were still in business.

Car goes back tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed I get it back looking perfect
I took the prelude letters off the bumper and have also removed the badges on the boot as they are being restored by my cousin who is into arts and crafts
Must admit i thought it looked different at the back with only the H badge in the middle of the boot
