Considering i spent nearly 10k on the engine alone I'm sure someone out there would buy a whole lude for that price. Might takea while. Maz at honda r sold his k20 lude for 15k so value is in the eye of the beholder.wurlycorner wrote:But finding someone that will spend that much on a Prelude???RattyMcClelland wrote:After importing and their profit etc. It's about right.wurlycorner wrote:drokk me they're asking a lot for that Type S...

Just flicking through the photos in the ad - it does look very very nice, where I to be without Lude.... I'd be mad, pretty sure I would.ATR84 wrote:Torque GT have dropped the price of that Type S by £500. At what point does this become better value than a DC5?
Let me put it this way.....
Or join the crowd...
Obviously I vote TypeS

Haha, great analogy, however, what does that mean in real terms.RattyMcClelland wrote:Atts is great. But when you molest the lude its in the way. Its the bra that has to come off before you get to the good stuff.
Only issue is like bras its a pita and a hidden secret on how to get it off.
Once off however and replaced with your face...
i mean lsd, it's the best.
IF I wanted a Type S, it sounds like I would be better off with an S Spec?
So what modifications can't you do with ATTS in place?
When it goes wrong, can it be fixed?
Is it easy to remove for a specialist who knows what they are doing, for example PAW or TGM?
I am seriosuly considering that Type S from Torque GT but don't want to end up in a world of pain thanks to the ATTS.

Are you going to modify the engine?
You cannot remap. Atts uses the obd2 ecu so you cannot change ecu unless you go piggyback. I went with the greddy emu but no one would remap it.
Bolt on mods like exhaust, intake and header are fine.
You cannot change the gearbox. M2u4 box is required.
The typical things to go wrong with atts are the oil pressure sensors. There are 2. Both honda only parts about £460 for each sensor however one right oil sensor is located ontop of the atts unit. To get to this its an atts off job which in itself out around a 7 hour job.
If leaving standard it's a great system. Works very well.
However since i moved to a helical mfactory lsd i prefer the lsd.
I wouldn't go for an s spec personally. The type s front suspension is far superior.
Atts delete requires a custom adapter plate to be made for standard lude drivesshafts. So you'll need driveshafts and a gearbox.
