4th genners in here - Front plates!!

Post by Martin » Mon Feb 11, 2013 11:39 pm

Whats the verdict guys , i've never been a fan of the horrible number plate mounts on the front of the 4th gen but after going import size on previous car i'm not feeling that either now. I'm thinking either a naughty sticky plate or maybe an equally naughty 3/4 size but central or offset ??? Hmmm ...

The sticky on Jon's BB4 looks really good I reckon.
Not sure how good it would look on different colours though

I used to run a front uk plate but have recently changed to a jdm plate mounted on oem bracket. I ran a poll on uk vs jdm plates here is the link. I think the oem jdm plate bracket looks good imo :)

Hmmm ideally i'd run cali style with no plate , makes the front end look much cleaner! I'm thinking i might try a 3/4 plate never had a problem with the law on this issue before *touch wood*

Will get some before and after pics when i do get it sorted!

jdm plate recessed into the front bumper by cutting a section out and fitting to a custom tilt bracket.
