London to Manchester and back
Not had my prelude that long so really wanted to give a trial by fire, so I said I would drive to Manchester last Friday nite to see family, so got my essentials in place first, music CDs, monavie EMV(energy drink), chocolate and then I filled her with petrol and checked oil and water no problems, I set off at 6.30 from royal Victoria in eat London, I was expecting a long painful journey (having done long distance runs in Ireland in my old EG civic and on my vfr400) It was a pure pleasure no rattles shakes had power when I needed it, not a lot like but she's only a 2 ltr so anyway I was comfortable no pains or aches, I got to Manchester around 10.30 and traveled abit further on to my mates house in Stockport, I was surprised to see I only used half a tank getting there and aside from the usual dose of drivers arse I was pretty good ( my back would be broken from my civic and on vfr400 when I would get off it after 3hrs driving I would walk around like little t-Rex) so all in all i was very pleased with it I never would have put it down as a mile cruncher, the journey back was much the same but i had about 6 hours sleep all weekend so I had to pull over on the way back in some place I don't really remember and hav a Starbucks and a twenty minute sleep bcoz I was bolloxed, so yea my point is prelude is brilliant I've had a double bed in I've got to Manchester in it, not sure where or what to do next... Maybe road trip back home to Ireland
