T Mobile, thieving sods

Post by paul bristol uk » Thu Aug 22, 2013 6:58 pm

Catch 22. My wifes mobile had a fault and the screen said "unregistered phone" I took it to a local guy who has a stall next to tesco. He said that the sim card was corrupted and flogged me a new sim card for a £1 with the advice buy a top up card from tesco. I did that and the phone rang in ok. Tried to put the £10 voucher from tesco on the phone using 150 and 146. All I got was a pre recorded message saying because I had no credit Icould not talk to them.
Also on the phone before the corrupt sim card there was £8.60 credit.

T Mobile now have £18.60 of my money and I have sod all.

Who is the best PAYG company I use £2-3 a month and my wife even less?
I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

I'm on O2 PAYG and can't complain, other than them phoning me every now and then because I went from two phones + £45/m contracts to one phone and top up £15 every six to eight weeks. Want to flog me all sorts.

Have a look on provider websites, often they will send out free sims.

If your old T-Mobile simm card has died, if you ring them they should send you a new one for free (and your credit should all still be there)

They're cheap, but all (and I mean all) support is via a forum where they pretty much ignore you. Should you ever have an issue, you're screwed.

Tesco mobile might be worth a look?

150 from a t mobile phone will get you through to complaints and you shouldn't need any credit for that.
