To sell or to break?

hi guys, been away for awhile, as you might remember I bought my 5th gen with a slight knock when start up from cold, a oil change and it still going fine with knock still noticeable but no worst, so I bought a h22a from a fourth gen same HP minus compression ratio with the intension to fit if and when my h22a8 give up the ghost but it seems I'll be waiting a long while, VTEC works OK and seem to drive fine otherwise, now i don't need it anymore as I got my soarer back and I can't afford two cars but still can't manage to let it go much less break it but the tax just ran out and I can't park it on the road so I got to do something, need some advice

Sounds like a waste to break. Do you think you will be able to run the 2 cars in the near future? Or maybe would part with the Soarer in the near future? If so, could you find somewhere to store the lude? (rent a garage or something like that?)

I'm guessing that 80% of the cars I've owned are now worth more than they were when I sold them (in the same condition).

Preludes are classics ... or very nearly. The way that things are going, they will always be able to keep up with traffic - at least up until the time that all cars have to be controlled by a central traffic computer. And when will that be?
Cars to keep until then include everything that doesn't depend on electronics (not most Preludes), and everything that has a story to tell in the evolution of the motor car (H22 VVT + 4WS = Preludes).

There may be times when it seems more like hard work than running a modern econobox. There may be times when something that can do 60mpg as well as 0-60 in single figures looks like it makes more sense. But one day, you'll pick up a car magazine (or read one on the net) and find yourself saying: "I used to have one of those. I wish I still had it now."

Mine will not see the tarmac again unless I can find a spare £1000 or so. I refuse to throw it away, though.

So true, I get a lot of compliments on the prelude, and the soarer does turn some head I love both, I am attached to the soarer more, and my wife won't let me keep both including her so one of them have to go! THE WIFE, I'll start packing from now.

I got this with a blown engine for £200. I replace the engine and now using it as a daily driver, so cheap its unbelievable. £30 to tax

. OH I did almost for get I had it that makes it 3 cars to maintain

Sell it. The price of 2nd hand parts is stupid low so you'd hardly make any worth while cash for the effort of breaking it. Sell it on and let someone else have a go at it

lol, i'm afraid that's what it will boil down to, the last prelude I have I gave away all my spare parts to a member from ludebehavior as I was a member back then, if I do decide to sell some luck buyer will benefit from all the spare parts lying around as i'm too lazy to ebay parts.
