Hi guys I need the flexible air con hose that runs from the ac pump, across the radiator on top of the fans, opposite the exhaust manifold, to a fixed metal hose near the battery.
It's got to be UKDM as I just tried to fit a JDM one and found they're different!
It doesn't matter what condition the ribbed metallic heatshield is in as I can swap it with the JDM pipe I've got.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Might have to take a look to compare my 2 cars later to satisfy my curiosity on this one!

Super Secret 1G (not really super secret!)
Thanks mart, haven't sourced one yet but will keep looking.

I guess so because the one I bought off ebay about a year ago was from a 2.2 JDM Mk4, and it didn't fit. It's exactly the same except the bit that bolts onto the compressor pump. Kinda hard to explain but in mine, looking from the front of the car, there's a stud and nut that holds the end connector in place. The pipe I got had that connector rotated 180 degrees, so where the solid alloy pipe should bend off to the left towards the exhaust manifold, instead it fouled the alternator because if bent to the right. I tried to bend it a bit just so I could fit it and put some gas back in the system, but had just a couple more mm to go and the bloody thing snapped in halfwurlycorner wrote:Are they?
