Preferably willing to travel to thetford, I need to weld the mounts in for the cage, they will be cut out and bent, I have a welder, gas and wire aswell as a mask and gloves just lacking knowledge!

Have you tried a mobile welder? You may be surprised how cheap they are (I know that's cheating, but at least it gets it done?! :D )
