Haha, yeah. Just spoke to the matey. He's a dealer & really knows nothing about it. Main problem is it doesn't have MOT, so don't know what to expect with it. Said he'll drop the price to & 500 though..so maybe just worth a punt? Said I can put a holding deposit on it till I can get up there..

I've got a pre-face lift auto BB4 that will be for sale very shortly, had to do a couple of bits to it when I bought it but it's been in use as a daily ever since without fault. Just waiting on an ignition switch then it's good to go to its new home

Has some test on it still so is ready to drive away.

Maybe it's a 1991 car and the owner personally imported it from Japan at the same time he emigrated from jdm land to UKDM land, in 1993?

£500 for the other one looks like a bloody bargain to me, on the face of it.

No MOT though..

So what's the best thing to do if I'm collecting it on Sunday? No garages will be open, so I can't even book it in for an MOT on that day.

Know it's ok to drive with no MOT, so long as you've got it booked in.

The listing for the prelude is similar to the ad for the BB1 i bought at the start of the year. If its a 1991 JDM import then they list it as a 1992 2litre as most computer systems say preludes started in 92. In uk we got 2litre and 2.3 first then followed by 2.2 vtec in 1993.
Good thing is most people will overlook the fact that it is a vtec and trade seller wont be bothered to check

youve got the reg number you can go get some quotes- i went online and got mine thru moneysupermarket

I bought my BB1 without MOT and have done a fair bit of work on it so far but thats always the way with ludes - so do expect some work to get it thru.
The one your picking up looks good though
