Need Prelude Exhaust Tail END Pipes

Post by Brigitte » Wed May 10, 2017 4:21 pm

Hi there, want to replace the old tail end pipes of my Prelude 1998 Vtec 2.2, the old ones are 4.3mm diameter, length 140mm.
Tried to find them on ebay and other online car part places but looks like they would not fit, so maybe somebody here could give an advise?

Thanks in advance

Wanted to put a photograph in here but have no idea how this is working

Welcome.
To show a picture on here, you need to upload to a photo hosting site such as photobucket and then cut/paste the "IMG" link into the message text on here.
Your options for replacement exhaust tips are really either new from Honda, or used from a car breaking on here I think.
Have a look in the cars breaking section and post up in the threads to see if the seller still has them.
(Thread moved to the wanted section, btw) :)

I've got some used ones. Why are you looking for new ones, are your current ones no good?

No there are not good after parts of the exhausts have been replaced and the garage removed the old pipes and I can't get them on again, apart from that they are looking quite bad now.
I tried the photobucket and hope this picture is working, that will give you a better look for what I need.
So I'm still interested for offers.

Think my last post wasn't going through, so could you tell me the exact measurements of yours?
Thanks

At first I'd like to apologise for my late reply. My fiancé could repair the old pipes and will mount them on soon. I think yours are looking quite better but I don't have the gut to tell him that his work on the blocked screws was in vain. Though could be that my old pipes are not clinging firm enough as the work on the screws are not really sufficient, in this case I'd like to contact you again.
Thank you for the effort you've done, your help is very much appreciated. I anyhow consider to sell my beloved Prelude as the tax and insurance is getting up and there are more and more parts of this car become rusty, I might try to sell her here.
Thank you anyway very much.
