TBF when I retro-fitted EL dials to my pre-face UKDM, I did have to literally go through the whole dash loom wire-wire to suss out what changes needed to be made, to make it work (and through that, I found some errors in the original Honda wiring diagram!
). I have it all marked up as hand marked up changes on a print out over there *points at bookcase*
