Exactly correct,the second engine was not built to a great tolerance, (probably why I got it cheep) and always had a bit more piston slap than I was happy with, so over time it has scored up 2 bores which was kind of inevitable really. There was no sign at all of det so it is not the boost that has killed these. The 2 pistons that fit better there is no damage at all.Donald wrote:I think that already happened? have one from edds car. ukdm cant remember mileage tbh but was over the 100k mark im pretty sure. no nasty noises or smoke but didn't go aswell as the pickup but did have a silly little air filter that wasn't helping things and the pickup is jdm. £120 collected from south wales

plus i had a ukdm 5th, it didnt feel as fast, wheather it was or wasnt is another thing, perhaps they are just a little more refined, ie old manish
